Welcome to One Eighty Wines! Our name reflects our journey: we each began our careers in commerce, but a shared passion for wine led us to make a complete 180-degree turn. 

​

Our team consists of four dedicated winemakers: Charles Higgins, Nick Terp, Max Staggs, and Hugh Gramp. We first met while working in the wine industry, and our paths converged at Sidewood. The journey began with Charles and Max, with an initial Fume Blanc in 2021, following this Nick and Hugh came on board.  Where we discovered our shared vision for creating elegant and approachable wines.

From our unique backgrounds and blend of experiences, we have come together to craft wines from a mix of distinctive and classic grape varieties, sourced from the renowned Adelaide Hills and Clare Valley. The four of us have completed vintages in Alsace, Adelaide Hills, Beechworth, Clare Valley, Hunter Valley, Langhorne Creek McLaren Vale, Niagara (Canada) and the Okanagan Valley (Canada) . Forming a great cross section of experience and ideas.
